KEEP IT! i just said why in a very incoherent email about other stuff i just sent you. yeah. keep it. you can take breaks, but don't delete it.

Updating it? Perhaps not. I enjoy your insights, but I do agree with previous posters that face to face is perhaps the best way to communicate, and it's generally recognized that LJ (and MySpace, facebook, etc) sometimes hinders social interaction by replacing real life.

Get rid of it completely? No. There may be one day when you feel the old urge to type frantically at the keyboard and whip up a frenzied post. Or to go back through old ones and think, What was I thinking? Sentimental value.

At the very least, consider making a backup of it first. :(
