Having worked in education in my last job, though, I can see how the moniker "GenMe" came into being; so many of us were raised that everything we did was a great job! and we deserved the best! and we could be ANYTHING we wanted! without hard work! we just don't know how to take lumps when they come or realize that not everyone can be a rocket scientist or company VP by the age of 24. That's part of why college admissions have gotten soooooooo competitive - everyone has a 4.0 GPA and was president of six clubs and blah blah blah, but they've never had to do a day of work-for-pay in their lives. And... this is coming out all wrong, but I think you get the idea of what I was trying to say. :)
