Happy Birthday Tartqueen!
In honor of your birthday, I'd like to share a mildly amusing little dream I had last night about NotBatman.
The dream begins with me saying goodbye to Caveman. I tell him I might be a little late. I'm on my way to some dinner thing that NBW will be at, but before I go, I've got to run an errand for Caveman. See, he came up with this (according to dream-him) hilarious prank to pull on NBM. I was supposed to find a flower with just the right number of petals and have NBW give it to him so that when he did the "She loves me, She loves me not" thing, it would wind up on "She loves me not" (which, of course, we all know isn't true), Then Caveman could have a great laugh at NBM's expense. ("Ha ha! She loves you not!")
So in the next scene, I'm sitting in the bushes behind NBM's house in the dark (it's a dream, so there house is completely different) counting petals on flowers. It's frustrating because they're those big complex flowers where it's difficult to tell where one petal ends and one begins. Suddenly, NBM comes home -- he doesn't see me, but I can see him through the kitchen window, which is open. He starts talking to himself and saying all those dumb things people say to themselves when they're talking out loud, like how funny his voice sounds, etc.
At this point, it should be noted that not only is he NotBatman, but he is also Richie Cunningham.
NBM/RC is still talking to himself and sits on a chair in the kitchen. I say something in response to him, climb in through the window, straddle a chair in front of him, and say, "Wanna make out." He says yes (as I knew he would -- after all, he's Richie Cunningham, and kind of a dork, so it's not like he's getting a lot of action with the chicks) and we smooch for a while. Then my dogs bark (because they're there for some reason) and I realize that the dinner I was supposed meet NBW at was already over and the dream just sorta petered out after that.
OK, so kind of a lame dream, but I'm still highly amused that my subconscious would turn NBM into a Happy Days character.
