Six Easy Pieces?ramplingJune 14 2011, 01:08:35 UTC
That sounds like a good hypothesis. Looking to see if I can find out more....
From Blue Jersey: "Rachel at Rutgers" (Apr 13, 2011): Maddow established her nerd credentials when she revealed that for relaxation she listens to CDs of lectures by Richard Feynman explaining the basis of his Nobel Prize in physics. I don't know whether he explains that in Six Easy Pieces, so I still don't know. Do you? Such fun!
I'd have to pull the CDs out and listen to them again. Checking Amazon, it appears that only volume 1 of the actual Feynman Lectures is available as an e-book, but that volume just covers mechanics. I know one of the "six easy pieces" is an introduction to quantum mechanics, including Feynman's QED.
In any case, I agree that this is yet one more reason to hold Rachel Maddow in high regard.
