Dear Shelby,
Yesternight, mommy and I went to Jessica's grave and cleaned it up a lot. We took off the Christmas and winter things and put them safe in our trunk. Then, we put pretty flowers on her grave that are purple and white. They are called wisteerias and azzoolias. They are beautiful like our Jessica was. Then, mommy and Laura put eggs in an Easter basket for her and we hung it on the stick that is by her grave. Next, we put a little wodden angel who is holding a basket on the other stick that is by her grave.
We hope you see how springy we have made Jessica's grave. We hope it makes you happy and proud. Next weekend we are going to plant some flowers there that will come up and make Jessica's grave look even prettier.
I hope this makes you happy! I do! We are trying very hard to take care of our Jessica even though she is not with us anymore.
Love and misses to you!

Dear Laura and Jake,
Yesterday was wonderful and I had much fun being with Russ and Panda at your house. It was fun to watch you try to play video games and scream and laugh. It made me giggle and warm inside. That is good.
I am sorry I stayed at the house while you all went out to eat but I wanted you to know that I went in and talked to your lizard for a little bit while you were gone. Panda and I got to talk a little too. They both said you and your Jake are nice and good people and that you love animals a lot.
What I want to tell you is that I thank you for being kind to my mommy and for spending time with me and her. That is important to me. She is grateful for all your kindnesses and thinks you are both very good people and unlike some other people we know who are mean and hurtful.
I thank you. You are good people. You are good even though your Jake is funny about having his picture taken and put on to the computer.
He plays good drums and you make good pasta. You both bring me joy.
Love to you both!
Heart,
