ANYWAYS I have had a busy couple of weeks, holy shit. FIRST OF ALL my time with my family away went pretty well. It was kind of nice to get some time to myself, and my friends and I had a great time.
However, I also spent the last two weeks struggling with overdraft fees and just generally having a hell of a time dealing with my bank. About two weeks ago I accidentally overdrafted (by $2.69 or something ridiculous like that). After I overdrafted that time and paid the lovely $28 fee, I was scared I was going to overdraft again, however, I had been really trying to save money and so I just put about $10 more than I needed in my checking account.
BAD IDEA. Long story short, Paypal tried to take money out of my account that I thought they'd already taken and WAS NOT AWARE THAT THEY WERE ATTEMPTING TO TAKE AGAIN. They tried to take the money out a few times, I unknowingly swiped my card to buy shit, they charged me every time, I was in the negatives, etc. SUFFICE TO SAY I ended up fucking everything up HORRIBLY.
$200 IN FEES LATER
I have now decided to keep at least $50 in my checking account at all times. Also, I had to put off buying a PS3 because I don't want to cut too far into my savings. :c
anyways other than that I'm doing really well. I GOT A RAISE AT WORK, FUCK YEAH. It's only 2%, but getting an extra 25 cents an hour isn't a bad deal. I also found out that I got a customer comment, which means a customer actually wrote the company about how much they appreciated my customer service. I was pretty surprised, haha, but I feel kinda proud. I know it's just retail, but I like to know that I'm doing the best I can at my job.
