Fun night. Though sorry, Annie. I said something loud and crass (and funny) to you in front of people and I shouldn’t have put you on the spot like that. I guess Duckie is rubbing off on me afterall ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry the phone cut out. My card died. Heh. Mwaha.
Kudos on the antlers. I used to find them at my farm a lot, don't so much now (not there enough). Do you have moose there? We used to find moose antlers... the small ones are gorgeous and neat, and would make awesome hand held blades if one was ever in a fight. Antlers make surprisingly wonderful weapons...

No, it's cool. Sorry I blabbed away your whole phonecard :) I was just happy that you'd called me.

Heh, I wish we had moose around here. That would be awesome. Nothing bigger than a whitetail, though. And nothing to fear from the environment but snakes, bugs, poison ivy and the occasional stray redneck.

And if you prepare two handles from moose antlers, then I will set in blades. One for you, one for me.

i remember one morning, when i was a freshman, i was sitting on the steps of callaway waiting for a friend of mine. He was getting something out of my friend's car and i was the one chosen to go downstairs and bring him the keys. It was really early, like just after sunrise. So i'm sitting on the steps smoking a cig and all of a sudden this deer comes running from the hasting-simmons side, jumps over the fence and runs across college st and thru the church parking lot across the way. it was awesome in the true sense of the word. only one other girl who was coming up to callaway saw it. my friend missed it. i'm glad the other chick saw it b/c then i would have never known if it was real or if i was dreaming.

Wow. I've heard stories about foxes and other wildlife on campus...but never deer. I wonder where it came from. How cool.

It's quite alright. But, I have to admit... were I not nearly s drunk at the time... I probably would have been a little angrier.

But it's okay.

Awesome on the car! I'll be in Houston for spring break, if you'd want to take it for a road trip.
We've been looking for bones around the desert alot lately, but no luck so far.
