Tomorrow is Nicholas's 5th birthday. I am picking him up from pre-school today then he and I are going to go out to dinner (likely Red Lobster - he LOVES crabs) where I will give him his cards and have the staff bring him a cake and sing to him (I was going to make a cake and sing to him at home, but I just felt like it would be silly to spend

All going according to plan so far. Skateboard in the morning. Camera battery charging now.

The skate board was a hit. Even before I gave it to him, when he got up this morning he told me that he loved me and wanted to keep me as his daddy forever. I guess I did ok for our first father-son birthday. ;)

Nicholas is with mom now, Taylor is asleep in the other room, I think I am going to follow his lead.
