I cought a snippet a Weather Channel segment on severe snow vs. severe heat. It got me wondering what people would rather have--a week of snow, ice and bitter cold, or a week of brutal heat? Would you rather have dry heat at 110 or a humid heat at 95?

Omhigod, I sold buttons. I went to the comic store Tuesday for the first time in a month, and I'd sold enough buttons that after commision, I made $20, not including magnets. (People liked the magnets we had them mounted on, so they bought those with them.) That's nearly half a tank of gas, booyah! Taking more by as soon as I get more magnets.

Oh frak, we're about to get slammed with another big, wet storm that greatly resembles the last one. We *just* got this place mostly dried out.

Crap.

I'm in denial that the shuttle is going to stop launching. Really. It's not true.

It's just a rumor.
