Wheee London and such! Too bad Camden is becoming less alternative. Did you guys go to the market itself (the market that you pass before getting to the stables market with all the shops when walking there from the subway)? Usually they have a bit more alternative stuff there. Did you find the Black Rose?
We also decided our next trip to London will be just us 2, so we don't have to keep up with anybody and such.
Be careful: if Anja wants to ride an original red double deck bus in London, don't wait too long before going back, because they've started decommissioning them!
And apart from the market you pass to get to the stables market, you should also try the market and shops close to the water. Just take the steps to the left or the right of the bridge you cross when heading for the stables market.
As far as the Icebar goes. We went there last year and I can't say I liked it. I even had to come up before our dedicated half hour was over because I was becoming really ill from the cold. Ridingwolf loved it though, but how could he not with ice and wodka around ;0)

Anja's not coming, she has to work. I'm going with a friend, but New York is only a pit stop to Vegas. I do want to see the Ghostbusters building near Central Park though ;-)

The original double decked busses are already decommisioned, but they have new ones. we already knew ;-)
