Well, it's not like we get these things all the time.... Probably less often than 'quakes, in general. It's just the 'canes we do get... Yeah. "Run away!" about sums it.

It may not happen often, but once (OK, twice, now) is all it takes to really ruin your day :( It does appear as I write this that the damage is much less than feared.
I'm just getting off 12 hours on the phones reassuring folks that power will be back on as quickly as possible (& at least 12 hrs tomorrow, too), so please forgive any incoherence.
But yes, I'm thrilled that the damage doesn't seem to be as bad as it could have been. OK, I'm scratching my brain, but can't recall where the heck Lancaster is in relation to any other towns. Does LP&L/Entergy cover that area? (If so, yep, I'm one of your friendly phone goons.)
