My first meeting of the day is over. Seven new faculty members (myself and Nikki Cannon, a former Bethel-ite) gathered to hear from the dean and the registrar.

It was a nice, informal and informative meeting.

At one I have to go to a bigger, more formal meeting of all the faculty.

Joy.

And I'm not being sarcastic for once. It really is joyous
