I have almost $700 to spend in the next week on ESL books for my collection here at the college.

Grants are great things.

Right now I'm browsing through Amazon.com, looking for possibilities.

You guys have any ideas?

UPDATE: $600 down, roughly $100 to go.

Whew! Spending money is hard work!

By the way, I told my uncle that I would take him up on his offer to move into his house when he goes back to New Hampshire.

I'm excited. I think it was the right decision.

"Pat Robertson's Screwtape Letters"

This weekend and next, Playhouse in the Park in Murray, Kentucky, is going to be showing The Hobbit.

I really want to go. I love all things Tolkien, and, even though it is an amateur production involving a bunch of middle school and junior high kids, I think it would be a blast.
