It was funny that last night I felt very disconnected, because I couldn't check my friends list and see if anyone posted. :)
I finished Someplace to be Flying, and I loved it. It took me a while to get into it, and I got lost on the characters for a while, but eventually I couldn't put it down, and stayed up way later than I planned to finish

...Except that I haven't actually read as much DeLint as I'd like, so I don't have tons. (Yet.) I read and very much liked Spirits in the Wires. It's another book set in DeLint's fictional city of Newford, and more than Someplace to be Flying it shows that he's written about these characters before in books I haven't read. He's good about working in their backstory, so I wasn't deeply confused or anything, but it took me a while to figure out who was related to whom how, and there were one-sentence allusions to events that were clearly the subjects of entire books.
Dreams Underfoot is his first collection of short stories set in Newford, and I've heard good things about it, but I haven't read it yet.
