I've been busy busy busy. Got a second job, living in Greensboro three days a week to work at the Library, then in Raleigh for the other four to work at Lonestar. It works for me. I'm staying with Emily, but I've been in Greensboro a grand total of four night and have only slept there one of those nights. I love having a life

Also, my god, I had completely forgotten about Where the Red Fern Grows. That book changed my life, and turned my passing fancy into taking care of pets and loving them into full blown adoration and respect for all animals. I loooooved that book. I'm almost frightened to pull it out and read it again, because I read it in such a different mindset, and was obviously much younger, that I fear that the words won't "cut" it for me now. Ya know?
