All right, so I'm back. It's been crazy and I've only been back for... *checks watch* *checks calendar* Uhh...I forget, but whatever. Point is, I'm back at home with easy access to the internet and the fandoms and people I don't get to see on a regular basis. I love Absolute Boyfriend. I love Yuu Watase really. She draws beautiful men. Her female characters tend to get annoying, but I love her bishies.

Definately! Those two boys are gorgeous! Too bad real guys don't look like that, right? What else has she written? *such a newbie* And what is it with female characters in a lot of shojo stuff?! They all wind up really annoying! Is it just a trend or an unwritten rule, or what?

She wrote Imadoki! Nowadays which I really loved, too ^_^ And it's a short series, only 5 volumes.

I don't know. I've noticed that trend too. The guys are all real sweethearts but the girls are just awful. Her Alice 19th series isn't too bad with the girl, but Fushigi Yuugi is just awful.

Ouran High School Host Club has a likable female lead as does Hana Kimi and Tokyo Boys and Girls Club. Funny how shounen tends to write more likable female characters than shojo does. You'd think it would be the opposite.

lol, the manga is definitely better... if I weren't so poor I'd have the remaining volumes, too. How'd you find 12 chapters of Absolute Boyfriend???!! I want to know! Shojo Beat is only up to 3.

Yeah, first thing I said when I saw the artbook was "OhMyGah!MUSTANG!" Then, the second thing was "Orca's gonna want to kill me for this...even then, she'd have to pry it from my cold dead fingers...."

I searched for it because Vol. 1 of SB is not in stores anymore. I'll email you the link.

What Orca has read DNAngel also? Remember I bought the manga at JACON and everyone was stealing it from me and reading it. I like the manga better as well.

I too am completly addicted to Absolute Boyfriend and is so jealous that you have read 12 chapters of it. I also suggest Imadoki I got Orca into that one too.

I'll send you the link, too. They have, I think, up to the first three volumes. And I had seen the anime, but then Orca and I raided the Walden in the Nashville mall and she said, "Oh read the manga. It's supposed to be better." Yeah...downhill after the first chapter.... Drugs would SO be cheaper!

Thanks for the link, didn't know you knew my email, anyway I think with any manga/anime it depends on which you saw first. If you saw the anime first you usually like the anime and if you read the manga frist you usually like the manga. I persoanlly haven't read or seen all of DNAngel but i've been disapointed in both at times.
