Amen to that. I get the same sort of thing for being into art rather than sports and knitting instead of car talk.

People will always assume that you stick to gender roles cause that's what most people do, but as long as they're not still giving you a hard time or being rude about it, it's not too bad.

Stereotypes are always something that you'll have to deal with whether it be cause you're a girl or just cause you're a geek, but the best way to combat them is to keep doing those things and turn it into something positive.

Meh, I know. And I've never let it change me...but I just have to rant angrily about it once in awhile. Call it a childish way of letting me pretend I'm ranting at them rather than about them. =D
