A Happy Thought Question

May 16, 2008 19:38

To celebrate the fact that I'm nearly done with the next part of the future!fic (which is still as self-indulgent as always, but still--!) and thus no longer have to feel guilty when I even contemplate writing something else, I've decided that I'm going to let myself wallow in Brendon/Cash happy thoughts for a little while. I already have one (or ( Read more... )

Anything in this 'verse would make me happy as a clam. ♥

I think I commented about this before, but I'm a sucker for the first time a couple says "I love you" so I would be way excited to see that :) I'd also love to see anything with Brendon's parents, like maybe he tries to re-connect with them and it doesn't go so well... at first they are happy to hear from him so he thinks it's okay to go ahead and tell them about Cash but that is TOO MUCH INFORMATION for them and Brendon is left disappointed and sort of regretting he ever tried to re-establish a relationship? I DON'T KNOW, I really like enjoy angst with Brendon's family for some reason!

I am actually still thinking about the I Love Yous. It's amazing, the amount of this 'verse that's floating around in my head, why that moment hasn't just popped out at me. I sort of think that it's maybe because, in my head, they've totally fallen in love WAY before they actually say it. I'm definitely still thinking, though, so expect that one some day. :)

And hmm. Brendon's parents. I will definitely ponder that one.

in my head, they've totally fallen in love WAY before they actually say it.

that makes me happy! Because seriously, if there is one thing I love MORE THAN first "I love yous", it's the idea that a couple are so in tune with each other that they don't even need to say it because it's already assumed. And saying it out loud would somehow cheapen it because words aren't enough. Basically, I am a big sap, is what you should be getting from all this ;)

I am a big fan or more stereotypical frat life, specifically...

Sex! There is so much potential for incredibly awkward fumbling in this. Brendon has pretty much no experience and no idea what he's doing. And I'm not sure Cash is much better. But somehow, eventually they figure it out.

And Drinking! They should be trashed and inappropriate and stumbling and laughing and then possibly puking and being hungover. Also, drinking games like Kings or Never Have I Ever. Also, this verse needs more inappropriate oversharing. Like, whoever lives in the room that shares a wall with Brendon should discuss over breakfast with the entire house how they heard Brendon and Cash having sex the night before or something similarly suitably embarrassing. (Gabe would be awesome at inappropriate oversharing. The entire house knows way more about sex with Gabe than they ever wanted to know.)

Oh, the incredibly awkward fumbling. There DEFINITELY has to be incredibly awkward fumbling. And more drinking. And more over-sharing (because they all so totally would.) Okay, the brain is definitely going here... *g*

I have to second frogy's drinking!
If only to bust out Ian and his blender again. haha. But that's already done, unless there is another angle there. I don't know.

Anything to get Greta involved. I'm hopelessly clueless to frat life, but would love to see more involving her.

B/C with Cash's mom helping pick out commitment rings. Or you know, a puppy for Brendon's birthday.

I don't even know. If something comes to me I'll comment again or message you.
:D

I will definitely have to work in the drunken shenanigans! Those are always fun. And actually, I totally love all of your ideas. Too many happy thoughts!

I have a massive thing for outside POVs on relationships and would love to see Brendon and Cash through say Ryan's POV or Spencer's. Oooh or in one of the fics you mentioned them double-dating with some of the other couples and I'd love to see that.

(Though, to be honest, anything in this 'verse makes me happy!)

I will definitely have to try to do the double dating. I've been wanting to write that one! And hmm, outsider POVs are always fun... Ideas, ideas. *g*
