Well, today was fun.

Went to work.  I finished a drawing I have been working on while I was there.  I put a good 5 hours into it and I think it looks alright for a first attempt at a new technique.  I used colored pencil to draw the design and went back over with Sharpies and stippled over the colored pencil.  I like the effect.  It makes the color ( Read more... )

Well, this was such a funny occurance that I was going to message my friends on facebook, but then I thought-No, this warrants a livejournal post.

So some progress is being made.  We are talking.  He is still making fun of my perm.  It is still a little weird, but I am ignoring it, because in this case I think ignoring it will make it go away.  Or at least we will forget about it until it's too late to do anything about it.

I want kids.

Ohhh, yes, they are so lovely.

For example:

(I am sitting on couch)
(Kid comes over) and says in adorable voice:  Can I sit by you?
(In my head I am thinking-yeah!)
Kid sits down on my lap, cuddles with me and falls asleep...

There is nothing more precious than a child sleeping.

Sometimes I hate my family and the things they do. Especially what they say.

But then I remember there is nothing I can do to change it so I shouldn't get upset.

And then I start wondering how to get past all of the ugly stuff.

Ughh....it's so complicated.

And not fun to be in the middle of.

He just doesn't get it.

Or he does and he is pretending he doesn't get it so he can stay one up on me. He is going to make me be the one to show my cards first.
