He always thought the five stages of grief were a myth. If they all could be expressed in silence, there was no real progression. You either were in pain, or you weren’t. Pretty simple stuff.
Except there’s nothing simple about this, he thought to himself as she tugged on the knot of his tie.
“This your way of sealing the deal?” he joked, weakly.
