Hey folks. I have a bit of interesting news for me... after much thought and consideration, I think I may have finally made my decision as to what I want to do with my life. I think I want to be a teacher... preferrably elementary, or possibly an art teacher. Or who knows, maybe I can be an elementary art teacher or something. It just seems to fit

i was actually thinking about the teacher thing too.. but i have no idea what kind if teacher. When I was little, that is what I always wanted to be. I actually thought about changing my major to history (because I love it) and because I always thought it would be fun. I still don't know what i want to do though. Too much pressure from my grandma (on my dad's side) to be something BIG. Oh well, I just want to do something that I will wake up every morning and be happy about :]

I think that this is an awesome idea for you though! I can totally picture you as an art teacher! Good luck!

It would be a pleasure and a privilige to welcome you into the pursuit of becoming a teacher. I'm excited to say the least. I'm planning on taking the basic skills test to get into the program this summer so we can register for it at the same time. I'll keep you posted. The apartment situation has yet to unfold it just depends on when I get a job. I'll keep you posted on that as well. Love and cherish you my amazing companion.

Thanks man, I truly appreciate it. Yeah if you could sort of guide me along on the classes I should take and stuff like that I would love it. Oh, and about the apartment situation... I thought that if you wanted one for the fall, you had to sign a lease way in advance? Like now? I don't know... plus wouldn't someone want to sign a lease before signing up for a dorm room? I'm confused by the whole thing. Supposedly there are 2 room apartments across from Wal-Mart, and I think it would be fairly easy to get hired there. We wouldn't even have to drive to work! Just an idea.

I cant explain enough how happy I am for you that you have decided on what you want to be :] I think being a teacher fits you perfectly. I can imagine you with your little glasses on and your shirt and tie teaching art :] You can even have Volk come in for a guest appearance and talk to the kids about peaches and euchre... I don't know, just an idea.
