The second. I usually err on the long side with wigs because in reality they often are shorter than they look on a head or model. And if it really is still too long, you can trim it down.

I would say the second one, the waves/curls look more like his hair =)

The first one looks too short to me even though it has nice curls/waves, so I'd probably go with the second one as well.

The second one looks closer, you can always de-poof or even relax the curls just a smidge, and trim it down. The first one just looks too short.

So you also like Lord of the Rings? I'm still a Tolkien fan as well.

For the wig, the first one has curls that's more like his hair, but it's too short and fluffy. In the second one, the hair strands seem too thin and long. I wish there were a combination of the first and second. However, as others have said, you can trim the hair, so I guess the second one would be a better choice.
