Oh interesting :) Very Very Interesting chapter nice to get Holden's insight of his family

Plus oh the town gossiping about Noah and Reid *Nosey people they are*

Ha thanks, but unfortunately I'm not in Hawaii - I just meant that it was still Oct. 12th there when I posted this LOL. (I set a goal to post 1 chapter a day.) I feel like if it's still that day somewhere on Earth, it counts!

Ethan crying :-( heart breaking again. Nice to see this insight into how the Synder family are coping and at same time, they are still concerned about their adopted son Noah. So concerned Holden shows up to ask Reid how he is? Wtf? That just seems..so weird lol

So Reid loves the smarminess of Noah? Mmmm

It's probably even weirder for Holden, but I don't think he knows what else to do at this point. Noah is avoiding the family, and by all appearances he'll only spend any significant amount of time with Reid. So I guess Holden's hoping Reid can give some insight into how he's doing.

Smarmy? Hmm. Maybe just inappropriate.

Or maybe smarmy LOL.

Great update, Nic!

Interesting Holden/Reid interaction there. Holden comes to see Reid, with a cursory inquiry to his well-being, to ask about Noah. He obviously feels he has nowhere else to turn. It sums up how he, and the Snyders in general, feel about Noah compared to Reid.

Interesting, also, to get into Reid's mind here.

And now I was I was in Hawaii!!

I'm sure Holden's probably genuinely interested in how Reid's doing, but he doesn't know the guy. What he does know of him would seem to indicate Reid would rather not get into anything too personal. You're right - Holden feels he's so out of the loop with Noah, he's even gone to this drastic a measure as seeking out the one person he knows Noah's been spending time with -- however inexplicable that is.

Now I wanna go to Hawaii too!
