First, congratulations on those awesome grades. I wasn't so blessed in my semesters of hell, so I'm very proud of your accomplishing what you did. It's not easy, but you did it. And, you got through the withdrawal from your medication, which shows that you are very strong, and that is wonderful. Second, all we can do in life is follow what are hearts tell us trusting God in the process. You're doing that. I'm glad you found such a great guy to be with for the rest of your life. Plenty of people get married right out of college and I'm very excited for you. I look forward to seeing where life takes you, as I'm sure it will be to great places. Keep up your strong will! You're doing great.
I get to say the same thing to people about why I'm an anthropology major. And plenty of people get married younger than - what - you'll be 22? Pshaw.
Don't change your plans simply because others want you to; you should live for yourself, not for others weird expectations. Make yourself happy first. Only when you're happy can you make anyone else happy, so worry about them after you get yourself straightened out.
"Some of the most interesting people I know didn't know what they wanted to do with the rest of their life at 20. Hell, some of the most interesting people I know didn't know what they wanted to with the rest of their life at 40." - pretty cool quote that I can't remember where I got it.
Yeah, if it's one thing that this semester from hell has taught me is there does come a point where I just have to look out for myself and just do what *I* need to do. Once I can do that, then I can worry about the other stuff. Can't exactly do others any good if I myself am so out of whack I can't function
and, FYI, for those that are wondering, I will actually still be 21 when I get married. My birthday is not for another 47 days after the wedding. Sam's is.....well, I'm too lazy to count. It's like a month and a half after mine.
Still, it's not like I'm 16 and pregnant and am just getting married to get out of the house.
I so want to come..... I wounder if I will be able. Remember David? The guy in Augusta? I wounder if he'd want to come, and might be my ride...... I wounder if that would be wierd? lol, well anyway, ttyl.
