For those of you attached in anyway to the Ft. Walton Beach area....

That woman got the max she could get....

I think she deserved every bit of her sentence.

Only seemed sorry because she got caught if you ask me.

No remorse.

Actually had the nerve to ask the judge for leniency just because it was her first offense??

I suppose a max sentence is good. I can't help but find it funny that she was sentenced to double the time for eluding police than for the DUI manslaughter.

Anyhoo, now to get some real good out of this. Now to convince Jason to stop driving drunk.

I think it's because *technically* there were three incidents. Well, 4....

1. DUI
2. Eluding police when they tried to pull her over for running a light
3. vehicular homicide (aka DUI manslaughter)
4. Trying to elude police AGAIN after the accident where a death was involved.

Maybe that's why it was double the sentence. Eh, who knows.

Let's hope we get some good out of this, as you said.
