*HUGS* Missed you! I'm doing ok.

We've been having wildfires here. And all the smoke is just messing my sinuses up.

I've been listening to the new transformers original score which is really good!

Remember! I haven't actually moved away. I'm always there. In your heart.

Now I'm curious... what classical music have you been listening to lately? :)

I picked up a album of Ralph Vaughn Williams pieces a few months back. I believe you've enthused about his work before. I've also been listening to Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor after being formally introduced to it by the aforementioned friend-turned-much-more-than-friend. Said person also introduced me to an anime centered around students at a music conservatory that features classical music in the episodes. And I've been performing some stuff during the school year, mostly focusing on Paul Hindemith's Sonata for Clarinet and Piano.

I have! I love Ralph Vaughn Williams (especially his Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Dives and Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus). I've never heard that specific piano concerto of Rachmaninoff's, though. I'll have to look it up!

I approve of this friend-turned-much-more-than-friend if they're introducing you to good music! ;)

Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis is beautiful and epic. Do check out the piano concerto! :)

I'm glad you approve! *giggle* Oh, he's a fellow music student, plays several different instruments and sings, which is how I met him in the first place. In fact, he played the Hindemith sonata with me. We have similar but not identical taste in music, so we discuss and swap suggestions about music and composers. It's rather fun.
