update on felting machine we converted

Some of you wanted to know how well the sewing machine that we converted into a felting machine worked. Um, well, I don't like it at all. So far it will felt some felt onto another piece, some chiffon, some wool yarn and some cheese cloth to the felt. lordy I hate it when things don't work the way you want them to! stupid machine! What did you do to convert it? I'm not at all into the felting thing...hehe

I bought a really cheap sewing machine, took the feed dogs and most of the guts out. Then I took an adapter that took the place of where the needle should have been and screwed it in. It looks like it should work, I just looked at my books again and can't find the problem. Instead of paying $299 for a real embellisher, I thought I was saving money by converting the machine and that only cost $150. Big savings to make a machine that doesn't work right, hah...
