Hello. I adore useless trivia, my favorites being about films and such, but I love it all. Here's some I found and a few I knew. Unfortunately, none of them are useful

It's random, not useful, and pretty obvious, but also in King Kong 2005, Peter Jackson nods to the original by portraying one of the biplane shooters taking Kong down just as the original director had.
He also used a number of props from the original.
But my FAVORITE trivia, for hardcore splatter 80s history era-Jackson is the box down in the bowels of the ship, containing a "sumarian rat monkey", the evil bastard who turned the whole New Zealanders party into zombiefest, from his second feature Dead Alive (aka Brain Dead)
I'm sure everyone caught these notes by now, though.
^_~ That was my favorite too! Did you know Peter Jackson had Bob Burns, a film historian who owns the original armature of Kong from the 1930s film, come to the premiere of the new film? He sat the armature on his lap during the whole film and called it his 'date'.
I read somewhere utilizing somehow some of the original pieces of Kong 1933, Jackson planned on adding to his eventual dvd of the film a short stop motion animated piece, to honor his heroes Willis O' Brien and Ray Harryhausen.
Though this information read a few times confuses me, those metallic skeletons are pretty ravaged by time now and probably incapable of moving inch by inch like once before.
very useful, thanks! here's something useful. check out www.gocollegiate.com. quintesentially the funniest site i've ever been too, and it just got started a month ago. nice...
