true enough. they thought about that, but he says he wouldn't be able to buy an equivalent vehicle with what he'd come out with. *shrug* he was saving up for a car anyway, so now instead of getting a used car for 10-15k, he gets a brand new one for 6k. he doesn't seem to care it's american. ;-)

how are you, anyway?

I don't know if you've seen the post, but I'm trying to decide if we have the party on Sat or Sunday. Sat works better for the Seattle folks, but Renita, Dave and Susie can't make it...oh...maybe we can have both nights?
heh.
Do you know if Jon is working those nights?

To my knowledge I'm not working either of the nights... but the last week of the month is a little murky and I could end up working.

Let's just say... at the moment... we are fine with either night.

One thing about your adopted homeland *grin*, when you win something you don't have to pay taxes on it. You may however, have to answer a "skill testing question".

It's always nice to reconnect with people you haven't talked with/seen in years... Your host families will appreciate hearing from you, I'm sure - even though it's been ages! :)

Through my big "I've moved" mass email, I got a reply back from a British woman who I randomly met in Prague, and it was so nice to hear from here, even though we only spent three hours together in the city, two years ago!
