Notes: for moit , who requested an Orlijah in which Orlando has long hair tied back in a ponytail. This is basically hair porn.
The Ponytail is a source of contention between them.
Orlando thinks it makes him look sleek, chic and suave, especially when he’s wearing a suit for work and carrying his briefcase, with a day- or two’s stubble.
Elijah thinks it looks greasy, and wishes Orlando would just wear it loose, so he can reach up and run his short fingers through the silky curls whenever he wants.
He’s been tempted to wait until Orlando’s asleep and chop the whole lot off. He’s got as far as tiptoeing out to the kitchen to fetch the scissors, then clutching them inches from Orlando’s face, aware that to a bystander he’d look like a murderer. But then he’s faced with the short hair versus ponytail debate, and in the end he just can’t bear to slice through those curls.
So they compromise.
Orlando continues to tie it back for work, slicking back the tighter curls on top.
But when he gets home, Elijah takes over, and pulls it out of the black elastic. He savours the smell of sweat and eau de cologne and coffee and mints as he leans in for a kiss, while tangling his hands in Orlando’s liberated hair. Even the first touch of it starts blood rushing south.
In moments of madness, Orlando even consents to Elijah wrapping loose curls around his cock while he comes onto Orlando’s face.
It’s in those moments that he maybe thinks he ought to wear his hair loose more often.
