SuperSpy: Orlando Bloom, TV presenter, was seen yesterday shopping with new boyfriend Dom Monaghan, his co-host. The pair, now firmly an item after Bloom's public dumping of ex Elijah Wood, musician and singer, were hand in hand and kept smooching. Wood, however, didn't seem exactly devastated - he played a storming gig in Brent's Bar last night with Viggo Mortensen, the other half of the acclaimed duet The Moonlighters, showing no signs of heartache.

"Elijah? Are you alright?"
Elijah forced a smile. He and Viggo were in rehearsals in Brent's Bar, a low-key affair in a busy street.
There was a small stage to one side that they were practicing on.
"I'm OK," he said, flicking through his music sheets.
Viggo sighed, eyes concerned. "I guess it must be hard. I mean, how long were you two going out? Must be nearly two years..."
"Yeah, we got together the February before last," Elijah said. There was a moment of silence. "Viggo, I really don't want to talk about it."
Viggo nodded, trying not to look sympathetic.

When Elijah went home for an hour or two, at about 6pm, Orlando was already there.
"Hey," Orlando said - he was in their bedroom, packing his clothes into a large dry-cleaning bag.
"Hey." There wasn't much to say. Orlando continued folding jeans and t-shirts and jumpers. He paused and looked round at Elijah.
"You just going to stand there and watch me?" His voice was flat.
"I guess not," Elijah said, and left the room. The lump in his throat was intensifying.
"I'm sorry," Orlando said quietly. "About the whole thing."
Elijah turned round, shook his head gently. "I should probably be the one apologising. It sounds like I just made your life hell for two years. I'm so glad Dominic was there to help you along." The underlying edge of ice in his voice was painfully obvious.
"We got along well, didn't we? For a while?" Orlando said - as though that would lessen the hurt. He sounded guilty. "It's just....y'know, Lij. There was only so long I could take it."
"I can hardly believe," Elijah murmured, "that you cheated on me. You could have been a bit more patient, Orli - you could have given me even just a little longer - "
"I gave you two years, Elijah."
"It was always about you," Elijah whispered. The tears, that he had been so determined to hold back behind the rage, were beginning to spill. He brushed his cheek hastily with the back of his hand. "You never took time during sex to make me feel good and to make sure I was enjoying it. It was always about you - so long as you were hard, so long as you were coming....And you knew. You knew what happened between Karl and I, before I met you. Maybe it was stupid of me, but when I told you that, I did expect some effort on your part..."
"There was no effort on your part!" snapped Orlando. He threw down the shirt he was holding, hands balling into fists. "Oh, I remember you telling me all about Karl and you, what he used to do to you, how that made you feel. And I did try, Elijah - I tried for months to make you feel more at ease, to try and help you enjoy sex again - but you never did. The moment I thought we were getting anywhere you'd just draw back into yourself - "
Elijah let a soft sob escape his lips. "Well, sorry," he said, choked-up. He strode out of the room, leaving Orlando to gather the rest of his things and leave..
