Skrew it does any one know of a good dvd recorder with a large hard drive space?

P.S. Does any one want a high quaility DVD player. It was a dual deck. The DvD works fine and has all the high quality video and audio outs... It's just a little big because of being a dual deck.

It plays both VHS tapes and DVDs.

He's saying he wants to give it away because the tape player is broken but the DVD player does just fine.

Don't get a Tivo. They're fond of removing features after they have your money. Alternatives exist.
