yes, he did...at the same time, however, will is not usually one who asks for space, and sometimes ppl ask for space simply b/c they don't want to deal, whereas in fact, that may not be the best option. Hence, i asked. and even if i can't help him with whatever is going on but can make him feel even slightly better throughout the process, then it was worth temporarily side stepping his original request.
