This past weekend I played host to the lovely lazy_daze, who came from London to get to know my marvellous home city - and who keeps reminding me that I haven't posted in aaaaaages. It feels like yesterday for me 'cause I slept for longer when I came back from the airport than I did the actual night ;) You do that, try and relax yourself from all the travel stress and exhaustion before you have to go and get busy at work!

Well, I've hardly been talking about it for the three weeks I've known because I wasn't happy at first. I'm still not happy about attending Manchester Metropolitan because they have special courses for the Erasmus students. I mean, what the hell? Their English courses would have been so right up my alley! So that's quite unfair, academically speaking. I just hope they'll let me wriggle my way into a couple of them anyway... But I am excited about Manchester itself! I'll have to go room-/flat-hunting in July/August so that I've got somewhere to stay by September 1, which is most likely when I'll be leaving Berlin (I'm tempted to say "for good", but I'll have to finish my degree at some point...). Will you accompany me then? :)
