So this is the backlash of all my luck lately. I just fell down the stairs of Grimmauld Place with the laptop in hand. Thankfully nothing except my tailbone was damaged. OWWWWWWW.

Anyway, I need to go check out now after I've got my hands on the newest Glee and then I'm off to the National Theatre Archive to watch After the Dance. Let's see if I ( Read more... )

Believe me, I was so glad it was the tailbone instead of the laptop. At least the pain is mostly gone by now, nine days later :)

You fell down the stairs? Eeek, be careful! :(

Hope your day out makes up for the pain. :)

It did, it did! Well, mostly. Seeing Benedict Cumberbatch in whatever form is wonderful, even if it's just on a computer screen. Then again there was the fact I had to fly back to Berlin on that day, which was painful both in a physical sense (sitting on the stupid plane) and an emotional sense (leaving London = BOOOOO). Anyway, I'll try to heed your advice next time I visit Grimmauld Place! :D

You broke it? Oh my. I only ever sprained my ankle/broke my collarbone/bruised my spine falling off my horses, which I imagine must have been considerably less painful. At least the bruise mostly doesn't hurt anymore :)

Hope you feel better.

I briefly considered vising A&E but in the end decided against it - I flew back that same evening to Berlin plus I had the Archives to look forward to, painful as it was to sit in their chairs. Hey, I'm actually thinking about going to NYC in October! I might be on your side of the Atlantic within six months! Though that's still a distance off from you :(
