I completely agree with you on sex, although it says somewhere in the bible, I remember from confirmation reading something, about sex being the same thing as mariage, at least in HIS view of how the world was SUPPOSED to be, not how we have made it... (but don't quote me on that, it has been a while since I read that part of the bible), and the best thing people can do with their feelings is to let people know that they exsist, that way you don't end up like the two people in your post a while back, regretting that they never told anyone about how they felt...
im glad that u were able to come to some realizations about the net of drama that envelopes life. i also agree that sex isnt something to be just throw around. afterward u share such a bond with that person that its not to be taken for granted. i disagree wit the fact it must be only between married ppls. i think that if u develop such a relationship beyond the stupid fantasies of lust that we have now, that it may be acceptable to ascend to the next level. to bestow upon that person another part of urself.
i somewhat agree with you aaron. but how do you really know your past lust? i mean we are still young and our brains dont think or act like adults. and like i have said to people before...what if youdecide to have sex and then that person isn;t the one you will be with. then when you meet that one special girl/guy and they find out you had sex with another another person, how would you feel? i know i would feel awkward...i mean you ahve given away apart of you that you can never get back!!!
ur right there u nvr no if u past lust, that uve really developed genuine feeling for this person. its a chance that u must be willing to take. but all things involve this chance. how do u no that ur past lust when u decide to marry someone. it involve being so connected to some person that ur willing to take that risk.
ah...good point aaron. but with marriage you have made a life long commitment. (at least it is supoosed to be) things change even after you get married but marriage is supposed to be for life..."until death do us part". i cant believe how many things and how much freedom we have in this country that we take for granted. i mean birth control...if your gonna have sex...USE IT!!!! i mean people dies trying to make it leagal and now no one gives a damn about it. WTF!!!
i agree steph. sex has become commercialized...and it makes me sick how people don't care about it as much anymore. people used to die for someone's virginity. that doesn't happen anymore...at least not here. maybe someother places, but not the US. i don't understand why it's so hard for people to wait. if you love someone, you'll wait for them. if you're meant to be with them, you'll know and you'll wait. waiting will make it special. it'll also give you a chance to figure out if you're really past lust.
and no matter what if you love someone.....what is the problem with waiting? i here in school all the time..."so um so and so came over this weekend and my parents weren't home and we had sex. when was the last time you did?...well i get some at least every week"..... WTF is that? i mean come on people...first of all dont share that shit in school....i know i dont give a damn about your whore life. grrrrrrrrr
Basically, why do people think we want to know these things??? a "friend" of mine walks up to me every morning telling of the sexual adventures she had the night before, and they are NEVER WITH THE SAME PERSON... its almost as if she takes it as a game to have the most sexual partners... where the only prizes are lowered morals, and low self esteem when you do meet the right person...
sex is best done with someone you love and trust very much... but at the same time, it can be a purely physical thing and can be canal and detached.... and that can be ok.... i mean there are so many more things in life more important than sex.... unless you can find the spirituality in it... but sadly, even if we love someone very much and have sexual relations with them, you are not gaurenteed to find it enjoyable or spiritual. i think sex is sex and is overrated.... not underrated
c thats the problem, sex shouldnt jus b a purely physical thing. u cant jus throw urself at some1 to fulfill ur desires at the time or bc u have a personal problem. i think u belittle sex, bc u dont approach it as an attachment to another person. if u take such an attitude into a relationship, then u cannot possibily finf the enjoyable/spiriual guarantee u speak of.
well then... what does that make self pleasure??? is it that taking away from what you have to give someone for your first time, cause you already know what it feels like??? Is that also something that you should wait to find the right person before you do??? Think about it, I know almost all of us have done it at some point, doesn't it take away from the specialness of the first time with someone else???
self pleasure should not be worth your virginity. or even if youve had sex before. kiera and i talked about how it should be someone you love and trust. i agree. but you can never know that you willl always love and trust that person, until marriage. sex is giving up a part of you that you cant get back. so if youre going to give a part of your heart to someone, make sure its really worth it. look to the future, not to the now. i can kind of understand having sex with a best friend, but i believe that all things hold emotion. so always make sure that the emotion brought about by sex is something you want.
