In the interest of having more to do at home when I am utterly exhausted and don't feel like going out, I'm thinking of getting a game console.  The main reason I haven't gotten one until now is I'm not that interested in playing most of the games.  I haven't had a console since my Atari 2600, and that was (good lord) twenty years ago.

You might enjoy Dance Dance Revolution, but you would need to get the mat to do it right. And it would be a different sort of activity than what you do at work.

Katamari Damacy and the sequel, We Love Katamari, have options to play against each other and are so adorably cute you won't be able to resist making amusing comments.

Katamari Damacy is beyond awesome. I think it's just for PS2, though.

If you want to get games for cheap, go for a Gamecube. Going a generation older is a good way to save some money and get games that already have lots of reviews.

I believe that one of the best multi-player games in history is Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. It's not much to look at, and the gameplay is just okay, but YOU ARE DAIKAIJU. Ain't nothin' more fun than that.
