Survivalism - Which is apparantly their new single is frankly pretty shit and doesnt excite me. It sounds like one of the more electro songs from the With Teeth album, but kinda blues-rocky. Not that great... but it *might* grow on me. it kind of reminds me a little bit of Miyavi, for those who

When I read this post I couldn't think of anything new that I was listening to that was worthy of passing on, but was listening to Asobi Seksu (myspace) and felt compelled to drop you a line. They're a NYC band that bring to mind a more pop-saturated My Bloody Valentine + their lead singer has that cute intonation that all english speaking Japanese girls seem to have. Plus their album cover makes me think that their music sounds orange, so you constantly feel refreshed while listening to it.

Next week (?) I'm starting another freelance job that is down yr end of the neighbourhood, I'll have to come around n shoot shit on a lunch break sometime.
