Okay. So I just found the series and I fell desperately in love. Then I read that part 5 was the final part and I was mopey for hours.

Then this beauty showed up on my f-list. Yes! There's more!

Awesome! I adore the fic so much. Not only do I find your grasp of Lestrade and Mycroft to be dead on. I really adore how you are growing their relationship.

It's fascinating to see how Mycroft is totally becoming obsessed with Lestrade and Lestrade trying to deal with attention that is quite terrifying, because he's a Holmes. As well as Mycroft reining himself in to treat Lestrade like a person and not a servant or someone he can control.

Hmm, this part does make me wonder how Sherlock will react when he learns of Mycrofts's crush. And how Lestrade will stop automatically thinking of Mycroft as his 'nightmare' every time he sees him. Considering Part 5, Mycroft has a lot of making up to do before Lestrade begins to trust him.

The nurse idea was a good start though!

Please be write more if so inspired. Like I said. I really enjoy the

very happy to see this - and glad that /someone/ is looking after Lestrade!

loved this: 'an atmosphere of "shit aimed at fan and already in transit" that just about choked you.' amongst many other things here.

Oh this made me so unreasonably happy - I still have a silly grin on my face! So grateful and elated that you've decided to continue!

Just the perfect dose of whump!Lestrade that I didn't know I was craving! And everybody helping him made me grin. I felt the ranting he did to Mycroft was significant. The beginning of an emotional connection? Oh my. Intriguing. There's what, two weeks left in Lestrade's leave? What will happen? What will Mycroft do next? Guh, I can't wait!

Your format of not having Mycroft appear until the second half of the chapter has got me trained to squeal every time he does show up. What's better in this chapter was, he turns up to deliver care! He even learns to be tactful (okay not that much) about helping Lestrade! Though I felt there was a distinct lack of him in this chapter. Moar next time pweaz? Maybe Neil-the-Nurse couldn't make it to Lestrade's one day because her dog ate her car key/transit card/purse so Mycroft must deliver some care/comfort himself? *snickers*

(I need a Lestrade/Mycroft icon,

I confess I hadn't dared to hope you'd continue the series. Count me surprised and VERY happy to find this! Love your Lestrade characterisation, of course, he's just the right mixture of frustrated and likeable and married-to-his-work: so modest that somehow it makes Mycroft's growing obsession with him even more interesting. And Mycroft approaching tactfulness, but focused on getting his way - yep, great characterisation. Can't wait to see the next installment.
