I miss playing Sleigh Ride!!! I just heard that exact version on the radio that we do at Franklin... oh man, I want to play that song so much.. even if it'll be after Christmas >:)

Omg dude, me too. I've been whining about Sleigh Ride all season to my band director, but we're not playing it...GAH.

I miss that song. I have it on my computer, the exact one.

I know!? But then again, of the 3 pieces we're playing, only *one* is "Holiday Music" and that's the Nutcracker (which we completely suck at. We're playing Festive Winds (...it's not holiday music like it sounds...) and John Williams Trilogy (which is pretty cool cause we play Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, and Indian Jones themes. :D).

I hated Sleigh Ride so much. It sounded ok, but it was too hard for me. I guess I should have practice. Oops. Anyway, the thought of band again makes Sleigh Ride one of the better things in life, though. So I guess I can't hate it anymore!

The first year I was in band, I didn't like it either... for the same reason ^__~ hehe. But then last year I practiced like crazy until I could actually play my part (wow!).. and now I loooove it!! (though.. I will have to practice like crazy again because I haven't played my flute for months!) I hope you also have a better time with it the second time around! (since we ARE playing it in January... right???)

Oh man, I miss that song too. Of all of the christmas music we played, that was my favorite, I don't even know why. I've heard our version on the radio also, and I could pick out my part and everything, it made me so sad. I think we should play it in our spring concert anyway, I really do. I bet he'd consider it as long as the music didn't get ruined or anything. Let's ask when we go back.

I agree =) i keep hearing sleigh ride on the radio too, but the singing version, not as cool as the version that we played. but i miss it..
