I skipped one of my classes to vote. :)
I was so excited about voting. The guy in line behind me (who was probably around 55) started talking to me while we were waiting, and when I told him it was my first election and how excited I was, he told me that I should be proud of myself for caring about voicing my opinion so much.
I pass his advice on to you.
