Who saw the opening ceremonies for the Olympics!? I watched it in Hi-Def at Dummy's house and I almost lost my shit. That was a borderline life-changing display of never-to-be-equaled choreography, technology and imagination. I can't even fathom the amount of money and effort that went into it. 12,500 participants I think, none of them used twice. ( Read more... )

NBCOlympics.com has copyright on most Olympic coverage, if you can install Silverlight on my guest account, I'd be able to see the videos they have posted :)

Basically, they swapped out that girl who was singing, and had a "cuter" one on stage lip-syncing. Oh and the awesome fireworks? Some of them were CG.
