your back workouts (ok ALL your workouts!) sound so intense and i like how you totally mix it up... i need to work on that - i love my little spreadsheet and i hold onto that - going off of that sets me off kilter.
is this geared to widening or thickening the back?
This days' workout is for thickness, (I left the title in). The whole workout is geared toward overall back development, and I copied the outline into the first workout. But its basically width, pillars, thickness. I'm still having fun and still gaining a teeny bit week by week. T-nation has been awesome for workouts that are geared toward intermediate to advanced lifters. I feel like I really need more back and shoulder workout specialization or my lifts will all stall. I can bench plenty, but I can just see where the weaknesses are. And I don't want to be one of THOSE guys who do beach muscles every workout and can't touch there toes. (whoops I'm beginning to rant...) And don't knock your own workout, you're doing great and making gains. Adding weight to your BP is huge, even if it doesn't seem like it. A few months ago you wouldn't have thought it would come this quick. You get an atta boy. (from my construction years)
ah - clearly my focus is in the toilet lately - sorry... :/
i totally feel you on that... (granted, i can't touch my toes but i never could even as a kid) :) i admire how you focus on that - your weakness - and keep challenging yourself. you've def given me some good ideas and inspiration for workouts!
i am doing ok - much better now w/ this 5x5 workout. even contemplated doing 185 today but didn't want to push it as it was 180 was tough enough. and 200 for my dl - i never thought possible... thanks for the encouragement!
