Blazer looked around as the PINpoint left him standing just outside a door in Autobot city, his optics just a little wide at the thought of setting foot in such a historic edifice... and hero. He assured Metroplex that he meant no harm and only wanted to talk to his friend, then lifted a hand and knocked uncertainly.
There was a sound of footsteps, and then the door slid open and Oriana was staring up at him equal uncertainly.
He looked back, one hand curling and lifting slightly as he felt his vision dimmed by the sheen of tears.
"I'm sorry." The words slipped out before he was aware of them.
Oriana stared a little more, and then stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him as she'd do to Cureall. "You look so different."
He dropped to one knee and hugged her back, holding her close and feeling his spark dance as a kin bond he hadn't realized he had made itself known. "I... do? These are the same specs that I was using the last time we met...."
"But I don't remember that very well," she said softly. "I'm used to seeing the inside of you."
"Ah. Right." He lifted his head and looked down at her, unmindful of the tear tracks on his faceplate. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yes. Let me get my bag." She pushed away gently and walked to get the small red suitcase, chuckling as the little stripy dragon sitting on it chirped quizzically. "Yes, Beauty, it's time to go. Are you coming?"
The little animal chirped again, eyes twirling a gentle, happy blue as she hopped up to sit on Oriana's shoulder.
The blond chuckled and picked up the case, then turned back. "We'll be staying with Rodimus and Panacea?"
"Yes." Blazer nodded. "I live with them. My primary job is to care for and educate the sparklets of the household."
Oriana paused, her face lighting up. "You too, hmm?"
"I beg your pardon?" He tilted his head.
"I take care of little Optimus; the chibi version." She chuckled, then came to stand beside him and put a hand on his arm as her expression sobered. "I missed you, Teletraan."
"I missed you too," he said, feeling fresh tears blur his vision. "I'm sorry."
"You didn't know any better," she said softly, her blue eyes bright with affection for her heartfather. "And there's no harm done."
"Right." He put a hand on her shoulder and managed a smile, then waited for her to step through and lock the door before he pressed the PINpoint button and brought her back to visit the reality where she'd been created.
