Perceptor: *walks up behind Kia and presents her with a Cybertron Sunrise*
Kia: *laughs softly* Did you get lost again?
Perceptor: *grinning* Yes. Fortunately I wasn't too far from Blue's, so I was able to bring you this.
Kia: *takes and nibbles, smiling at him*
Perceptor: *steps closer and puts his arms around her, letting her turn so that she's leaning back against him and then lowering his face to her helm. When he speaks again his voice is soft* I love you.
Kia: *snuggles back and pauses in her nibbling to look up at him, her pale optics speaking to him*
Perceptor: *even weeks after the bond's implementation his spark-mate's feelings are nearly as clear as his own, and what she's feeling now has his grin widening as his arms tighten slightly. He still can't believe that it took him so long to notice how beautiful she is.*
Kia: *resumes nibbling the treat, her contentment welling through both their sparks and blending softly with his wonder and wry bemusement.* All the essential work is done...
Perceptor: *turning them both toward the narrow bench where they sleep* ...And the other projects would profit from our taking time to recharge.
Kia: *sets the Sunrise down on a work surface and chuckles at a memory from the day*
Perceptor: Yes, the Ambassador did look rather nonplussed when he heard us speak, didn't he? *settles on the bench and presses his back to the wall, then puts his arms around Kia as she snuggles against him with her cheek pressed against his chest. Gently rubbing her back as he looks down at her* But I cannot help it...
Kia: *softly* ...You're part of me.
Perceptor: *rests his face against her helm* Yes.
Kia: No, I get the outside so you don't wind up on the floor. *chuckle*
Perceptor: *blushes slightly and closes his optics to rest*
