I love that song too! Honestly there's not much from the Beatles that I don't love.

A Day in the Life is my favorite, but then I have like 75 other Beatles songs that are tied for second LOL

LOL, I'm with you. They're all so good. That's my Dad's favorite. I love it too.

Golden Slumbers is what I sang my daughter to sleep with when she was little!

It's one of a dozen or so favorites - I go by mood with the Beatles. Happy times, I like Rocky Raccoon and Here Comes the Sun, melancholy times I listen to Blackbird and Yesterday and While My Guitar Gently Weeps (with my absolute favorite guitarist, Eric Clapton!), if I'm angry I listen to A Day in the Life or Happiness is a Warm Gun, if I'm feeling especially loving it's Here, There and Everywhere or When I'm Sixty-Four. For fun, it's almost anything off Meet the Beatles because I love the harmonies. When I want to get work done, it's Abbey Road.
I may have missed a few more favorites... Oh yes! Let It Be! I taught myself the piano part as a kid.

and re: Bacha Bazi - BoingBoing covered it this morning. Hypocrisy abounds at high levels, doesn't it.

That's why it's my favorite!!! It was the only thing that would calm Little Random down both in my tummy and as a baby. It just always makes me smile when I hear it. Love the song. Love all of those you listed too, except I don't know Rocky Racoon. Going to check that out :)

And seriously, right? I figured it was getting a little coverage but thought a little more couldn't hurt. Horrific.

I love that song. My Dad went to Paul's concert a number of years ago and Paul said it was his favorite that he's written. :)

Yeah! I thought it was pretty rad too!

You know that the idea for "Yesterday" s melody line came from a dream that Paul had and in his dream he was singing "Scrambled Eggs..." in the notes, and then worked it from there?
