Been a while, hasn't it? Let's see - got a paid account, changed my username, visited relatives in Kentucky, discovered Tom Hiddleston, failed to get to NaNoWriMo again. Other than that, a pretty uneventful year.

I don't know, that definitely seems pretty eventful. :) Maybe next year with NaNoWriMo? I've been wedding planning and working, and Mom-ing. Just needed an internet break. :)

Well, maybe less "uneventful" and more "not horrible". (Admittedly we had car troubles down in Kentucky, but I still got to see family again, and visit a place I wanted to from when I was a kid, so.)

The Tom Hiddleston thing's been pretty interesting so far. First time I've seriously noticed a blonde hair/blue eyes guy (he dyed his hair for Thor), first time I've noticed a guy's legs (not even in Rocky Horror, which I've developed kind of a love-hate relationship with), and so on, and so on. Also kind of why I've decided not to criticize the Justin Bieber/Jonas Brothers/etc. crowd too much (though Bieber still looks way underage to me.) After I bought Esquire - first time I ever got a magazine with cologne samples - for pictures of the guy modeling suits - yeah.

Glad to see you too! How did you get the piratey LJ icon? I keep seeing cool ones and I am so confused. It's really weird being out of the loop!!! lol.

The pirate icon was bought for me as a prezzie but they are on the shop page under 'custom userheads'.

Random!!! Oh my goodness, what an excellent surprise seeing you on here. :D :D You are missed!

I am not very good at coming up with captions, but I do find it delightful that the space woman took the time to put rings on over her space suit, and that their protection against the blackness of space... is a flashlight.
