I love the pond - why didn't I know about this? I wants a pond too.

My pond is WA-AY fun, cool, clear as a bell. And I was terrified to put water lilies in it because I heard they were so hard to deal with, hard to care for? Pfft. They're plants. Keep them at the right depth, transplant them once a year, trim off the dead things when it's time, give them a fertilizer tablet when you're trimming off the dead things-----they're no more difficult that keeping a house plant fed and watered and repotted and turned now and then in front of the window.

Plus: they're way cool looking when they bloom. And my water bugs like them. (Oarsmen bugs, which I still haven't figure out how they get IN there. Nor the snails, for that matter.)

I love my pond!

Water lilies are very cool but that sounds like hard work to me, me who can't keep a houseplant alive either... Sounds like a fun project. And the boat - I swoon over the boat!

Oh *laughs* the sailboat! Yeah, it's a pretty cool little sailboat, with a steerable rudder and everything. A canvass sailcloth. The actual hull is a solid piece of wood.

I'll take it out when the fall yuck weather starts and put it back in in the spring. Very cool gift from a longtime friend who lives on a lake.

I'm sorry lilies and houseplants are too much for you. I love my green things. (Truth be told, I only have four plants in my house. I have lots of potted plants, but they're all the same four kinds. Easy ones!)

The phrase "lay down in joy" - Where did you come up with that originally? I mean, is it from anywhere or just some words?

Just some words, actually. I don't have any book, song, whatever with that particular phrase. In other words, I made it up because it sounded good.

OH GOD ICON!

Oh, I win! (Apparently it's in the bible a lot and some random English woman's diary. But in the context of sleeping. She only likes to go to bed happy. I don't know.)

... oranges, okay then. I have been spending too much time in photoshop making ridiculous things like that and meta-icons like this one that probably only amuses me.
