Things seem bright and cheery for me at the moment ... I figure it's probably because I'm now done with physical therapy (for a dislocated shoulder, if you haven't been following my life story) and I'm now cleared to do just about everything except push-ups and pull-ups ... shucks. It's happened again ... I have absolutely nothing due tomorrow, giving me the perfect chance to work on some college application or get ahead on homework. I've recently discovered that Scott Adams, the writer of Dilbert, has his own blog. It's quite entertaining. If you enjoy the Dilbert comic strip then you will most likely enjoy this too. Finally on Wednesday I had my first day in two weeks without my right arm strapped to my stomach. It's so great to be able to pick things up normally and everything. I finished my first college application! After about a week of little or no leisure time, my Princeton app is done. Now I shouldn't have to worry about any college apps for a week or so.

My nightmare continues (well, ok, so it's not quite that bad but it sucks.) I went to see an orthopadic doctor this morning to find out how long I need to wear this stupid sling and that sort of thing. Naturally my life doesn't go back to normal after my shoulder is back in its socket. It looks like it will be at least a week before it will be fairly normal. With my right arm strapped to my stomach, writing is inconvenient, typing takes twice as long, and my backpack is impossible to carry for too long as my left arm and shoulder just aren't ( Read more... )

I spent all of the time from about 5:15-7:45 in immense pain, today. I was playing soccer when my right shoulder suddenly popped out of it's socket. For those of you who haven't had the privilege of this experience, it feels really awkward and hurts a lot.
