So, after months of dancing with the crazy, I have embraced it fully. Bought myself a job. I just closed on a motel in Oregon- rustic old school affair right near Crater Lake

So, i tried to reply to your comment (with the link) and i get an 'unhandled error' page, whatever that means. And your comment seems to have vanished?
Weird.
Anyway - it looks cute! You should watch that show with the guy who fixes up hotels that aren't doing well - you might get some tips on how to bring in the customers! :)
My bad, apparently I screened it from everyone, not just public, but it's back now. Sorry! hmmm, Something like that could be really useful, thnks for the tip I don't really have TV, so I'm not sure what show you mean- it's not the Gordon Ramsay one, is it? btw, if you guys want a vacation in the pacific NW- I owe you for hours of entertainment, you know? Seriously.
I wasn't aware Gordon Ramsey had a show. But, yeah - seems like, the episode i've seen, mostly they want you to make sure you can see the hotel/find the hotel, and that it's *really clean*, and that everything works. Having stayed in some gross fleabags in my time, i heartily agree. :)
I love the NW - we lived near Seattle for a few years - and would vacation there in a heartbeat. :)
Thanks! Not like I can sleep anyway- so that was one of the attractions, y'know? Ideal position for an insomniac hermit. With trees! I'm going to plant fruit trees, and some nuts. Real ones, not just me, I mean.
And ya, it's a departure. But you made me think about that- every job I ever had was a departure, and usually a huge departure, from the last one. It goes in circles, though. Or stuff crosses over, at least.

I was actually thinking of what is, apparently, called 'Hotel Impossible'.
